Keeps very accurate time and needs little light to keep it going. When I received it from Amazon, I checked it out and set the time...maybe had it in the light for a couple of hours maximum. I then gift-wrapped it. A week later my wife opened it, and the watch was still running and had accurate time.I paid close attention to the size specs when chosing a watch, so I knew this was a good size for my wife's wrist. I encourage everyone to do the same. The photos can sometimes be misleading. The photo for this watch that shows it on an arm (actually a drawing of an arm) makes the watch look huge. The face is not too large. Although it was a bit tricky to set and I needed to go to the Citizen website to figure it out, the fact that it doesn't need a battery is a huge plus.
