Wanted something not too dressy but in two tone for work, with a large enough face that did not overdo it...and this was perfect. Have it quite a while now at least 4 months and no worries, it also has been splashed once or twice with water and no problems...February 2008 This is an update, It is almost a year now (less ten days) since I initially purchased this watch, and it has been working like a dream, been caught in the rain a few times and had it on washing dishes (absentmindedly) a few times and it is still working well. The watch band color still looks good and there are no scratches to the face...so if you were hesitating about buying.....hope this helps...
