I purchased this watch after visiting Citizen's web site and searching for women's watches. First, this is the women's model of this watch. Amazon has attached an incorrect headline description for this watch. The men's version is AU1038-53G and has a 40 mm case. If you read the full description on Amazon, which is accurate, it states the watch has a band for women. However, to fit most women properly, a few links will have to be removed from the watch band. Also, the case is much smaller, about 28 mm rather than the 40 mm case for the men's version of the watch. In the past and present, I owned Citizen watches with diamonds and crystals around the outside case. The watch I am presently wearing has lost part of the stones. I love the GA1038-56G because it has diamond accents inside the case. This design feature will prevent the lose of stones from the watch, but still provide a little bling. The eco drive function works great, and it is awesome that the watch charges by flourescent/indoor light as well as sunlight. The watch is very comfortable, and never snags or bothers me. There are no sharp edges that bother my skin. I hardly ever notice that it's on.The date function always counts through 31 days, as any watch without a month indicator does, so on the 1st after a 30-day month, the watch must be manually pushed forward a day. This does not bother me. The glow-in-the dark arms do not always shine brightly for very long after exposure, but, as I usually wear the watch at work, I have not been troubled by this. I think that the flourescent light I am usually under is not substantial enough to give the arms a good glow-in-the-dark charge, and, sadly, I hardly wear it long enough in the sunlight to do it justice.
