The first was sadly left behind in a hotel room after 10+ years of beauty and faithful service. There are so many more styles available now that it made it very hard to choose just a single one. I shopped the Citizen counters at several stores and ordered 8 from online sources. Of the 20+ that I liked in pictures, this was the perfect watch for me. I ruled out all of the ones with crystals because the size of them didn't allow any kind of shine at all unless you were under jewelers lighting. (A surprising number of the ones with diamonds had the same problem---don't know if it's because of the size of the diamonds or the way they are set, but in a lot of the watches they actually made them look worse--kind of cheap). It's actually quite difficult to see the hands on this watch. My wife couldn't see the time so we returned it. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Cheer Mom "cheermom" (Voorhees, NJ USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Citizen Women's EP5830-56X Eco-Drive Serano Stainless Steel Watch (Watch) I bought this watch for myself as a birthday present. I loved the deep chocolate brown color of the dial. The weight is perfect - doesn't feel heavy on my arm, but it's not a lightweight watch. From the photo, I thought the face would be bigger, but I've gotten used to it - it's a 1 inch circle. Everyone who sees this watch loves it. Plenty of watches out there with mother of pearl, white or black crystals - this is the only one I've seen with brown. I can wear it everyday and also because of all the diamonds, can wear it when I get dressed up. Very glad I purchased it. |
