Would have given five stars but the diamonds are not a large/vibrant in life as in the picture and the steel balls between the diamonds are more prominent than pictured. This review is from: Citizen Women's EX1074-59A Eco-Drive Palidoro Watch (Watch) Bought my first citizen eco drive watch for my wife 7 years ago,and it worked fine until battery failed this month.Since i cannot find any other series fulfil my expectation, I decided take another CITIZEN ECO DRIVE. The first reason of taking this 1074-59A is ,it has no diamond or crystal in the bezel,so you willnot worry about lose them. Also the diamond hour markers make it easy to read, and the golden sword hands give it more elegance. The only thing i would complain is the price ,since this one has a new-arrival label, it's more expensive than similar styles. Anyway , my wife like it,that's the most important thing. I'm generally not a fan of bandwagon purchases (i.e. items that have been heavily reviewed), afterall, who wants to give someone a gift that 1,000's of other people own?!? I equally dislike being the 'beta-test' customer, however, in this case, I could not be more pleased! This is a very elegant watch -- without 'over-the-top' shimmer. The mother-of-pearl is textured, and displays various colors such as: pink, purple, green and blue (not all at once). The color hue depends wholly on the angle of light, and is NOT dependent on whether the light is natural or artificial. The diamonds accent the watch perfectly, and insures this article of jewelry can be worn casually or formally! The band is ridiculously easy to open / close, and further feels completely secure when the clasp is 'locked.' Bowen stated in the previous review, the pink is not a loud pink. It is a subdued shade of pink and goes well with the stainless steel finish of the watch and its band. The watch face is a small size as appropriate for a woman's watch. I do not consider this a sport watch. It is an informal dress watch that well serves this fashion category. The idea of a watch that does not require battery replacement is really neat. In addition, so is the 5 year limited warranty allowing you to deal with Amazon on issues.
