The styling is conservative and classic. It reminds me of a classic Rolex Oyster watch.The only cautionary word I would have is: Make sure That the watch is exposed to light,(sunlight is better) and that you continue to leave the watch in the direct light for at least half an hour a day for a few days. If you do not do this the watch will not keep the day and date correctly. If you are looking for a matte finish, this is not the watch for you. If you look at the picture, it doesn't really show that it is a champagne background to the face, and there are two high gloss gold tone stripes that go down the band. You then have the outer stripes (and center) of matte gold, and on the outer edge (and on the whole face) there is a repeat of the high gloss finish. Also note that the face on this watch is larger than I expected. I have under a 6 inch wrist and it looks proportionately like a man's watch looks on their wrist--not dainty. I actually love this about the watch. Sizing this down was frustrating (without a watch sizing tool), so I paid 20 bucks at a jeweler to have it sized properly. Please keep this in mind if you have a smaller wrist. I had two links taken out and it still wears like a bracelet. Setting the time and day are easy--I have yet to figure out how to set the calendar date... This Citizen Women's EW3122-53P does not need to change battery forever!!! It is precise, functional with date and day, good quality and look, totally love it. A really good buy! |
