I had been very interested in the eco-drive wathes b/c I thought the idea of no batteries EVER plus being eco-friendly was very cool. This watch is exactly what I expected and more. It came out of the box running the correct time and date, even my partner was impressed! I have had it a week and the time is always right on. The dial face is a beautiful dark blue that looks almost smoky in direct light. The band is sleek yet incredibly light weight. When I first put it on I was amazed at how light it was. My one complaint is that the band is VERY big for a womens watch, I had to have four links taken out before it even started to fit me, and you have to have this done by a jeweler as the pins are very sensitive and might break. Other than that this watch is incredible and more than worth the price paid! I lost it this summer and have been lost without it. I will be getting another this Christmas! Yipee! I LOVE THIS WATCH! The electricity in my body causes battery watches to short out...they don't last over 3 months. I wore this watch all the time; in the shower, pool, jacuzzi, beach. I painted in it, did yardwork in it, you name it, it held up to all the abuse and still looked new. The gold never wore off and the entire watch seemed to be scratch resistant. The only negative is the date window was/is too small to clearly read the date BUT if it were bigger it would take away from the beauty of the watch. It would be fine with me if they left it off.
