I love this watch! It just takes a few days to initially charge by simply exposing it to sunlight and it's good to go (as long as you charge it occasionally). Sometimes I go days without having it exposed to much light at all and it works fine. To top it off it's beautiful, and always gets a lot of compliments. Highly recommended.

The Citizen Watch Company (originally Shokosha Watch Research Institute) has been around since 1918, and since that time it has been renowned for its excellent products. This beautiful watch is part of the Eco-Drive range, which is powered by a tiny solar panel, which is cleverly hidden under the face. Also, giving the watch its glitter is a number of wonderful Swarovski crystals. Swarovski has been making jewelry-grade crystals since 1892, and their consistent quality has kept the company going through wars and the rise and fall of empires.

As a premise I did not buy this watch here, I found it cheaper somewhere else. (surprisingly, since Amazon has always the best prices...) I have been looking for a watch for a long time. Coming from a Gucci bezel bracelet watch that I have been wearing constantly for the past 10 years, it has been very challenging to find something that would not lower the standard. This watch is absolutely fabulous: modern, classy, not too formal, perfect size. I love the minimalistic look, the square shape (MOP plate), the finish on the bracelet. I have had this product for almost a month now and I like it so much. I have really thin wrists and it suits perfectly. If you want a nice not too expensive but not too cheap watch this is it. The dial is also really thin, gets closest to Seiko which is known for its thin dials. Its also eco-drive which makes it a no maintenance watch. I had to replace battery every two years for my old watch, not that I am saving a lot on batteries but really feels good to know that it charges when exposed to light.

Love the face/ love the solar panels inside that recharge the battery:totally awesome feature- I bought it because it is stainless steel and i thought it wouldn't irritate my skin allergies....WRONG. so mixed feelings- nice watch but still cant wear b/c it makes my skin break out in a rash.Also, the band is too long and isn't held together with screws so i had to take it somewhere to size to my wrist.
